Have you tried Pleasure Seekers yet?

Kicks, the second instalment in my Pleasure Seekers trilogy is out now. I hope you are enjoying these stories of three flatmates in Brighton on the lookout for love.

They also work for an online adult superstore so sex is never far from their minds. Professionally and personally.

So why did I set the books in this world? Well, they kind of come from experience. I spent a year working for a company which produced, amongst other things, Durex. It was one of the best and strangest experiences of my professional life! I wanted to get across how quickly things go from the bizarre to the normal.

Some events that are in the books actually happened although I’m not saying which. Okay, I’ll confess the lube aroma testing in Thrill was real. Fine, so was testing vibrators with noses in Kicks.

I had wanted to write a workplace series for ages. Anyone who has worked in a big office will understand what an odd environment it can be. All those personalities crammed together makes for limitless story idea. When I let slip to my editor where I used to work, she helped me realise the experiences were there to be used.

I was in the mood to write something much more lighthearted than other books I’ve released. I hope I’ve achieved it. I’ve had a great time inventing scenarios for Tyler, Eddie and, of course, Scott.

The final story, Glow, is out next month. This will be Scott’s story and I hope I’ve saved the best for last. Will Scotty finally get the happy ever after he’s watched his two friends find?
